The pair’s marriage appeared to be in danger after reports emerged that they had consulted divorce attorneys. Reports of discontent suggested that Gisele was unhappy with Brady’s decision to come out of retirement and rejoin the NFL. This was on the basis that it would go back on his commitment to spend more time with the children.
And by the looks of it, Gisele was not going to tolerate this at all. A source confirmed the following: “Gisele told Tom either he leaves football to spend time with the family or she is gone for good. She doesn’t want him to continue to get injured and not be able to enjoy life in the future.
“She is doing it for her family.” If those comments are taken to be true, then they are very significant for the following reasons. First of all, Gisele and the children had been absent from Brady’s NFL games which would suggest that she was not on board with his decision.
Secondly, Brady recently shut down suggestions that he was going to retire from the sport. This is despite the fact that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are not doing the best after having lost four games so far.
In some comments at the time, Brady remarked: “I’ve never quit on anything in my life. I made a commitment to this team and I love this team and I love this organization.”
Now that the divorce has been finalised, there will be question marks over whether this could have been avoidable. And if Brady does end up not making a huge contribution on the NFL field, then will he be left to rue this outcome? We will have to see how this will play out.
