Fans certainly didn’t expect her to say anything about this. Khloé Kardashian explained why she has been wearing a plaster on the left side of her face in recent outings. In a series of Instagram Stories, the reality TV star revealed that what she thought was just a “zit” turned out to be a tumor that she had to have removed. Here’s what she has to say!
“After noticing a small bump on my face and assuming it was something as minor as a zit, I decided to get it biopsied 7 months after realizing it was not budging,” she wrote alongside a photo of the bump.

Kardashian explained that a second biopsy was needed because what her doctors were seeing “was incredibly rare for someone my age.”
The 38-year-old shared that she called surgeon and a “dear friend” of her family’s, Dr Garth Fischer to do the procedure. Kardashian added that the procedure was successful, and she is now “onto the healing process.”
“So, here we are…you’ll continue to see my bandages, and when I’m allowed, you’ll probably see a scar,” she wrote alongside a photo of the plaster on her face, “but until then I hope you enjoy how fabulous these face bandages look.”
Before concluding her posts thanking her doctors, the mom-of-two noted that she was sharing her health scare as a reminder to get checked frequently.
Back in August, Ko Ko and her former partner Tristan Thomas welcomed their second child via surrogate. The reality star, 39, already shares four-year-old daughter True with the NBA player, 31. She has previously discussed her difficulties with conceiving another child. Following the announcement they were expecting the child, Kardashian said she was “incredibly grateful.”
Thompson and Kardashian officially ended their relationship in January after it was revealed the basketball star had fathered a child with another woman.
