Beyoncé has bashed designer Nusi Quero after he claimed that the singer’s stylist, Marni Senofonte, had not paid him for designing her album artwork.
Beyonce Denies Claims That Her Stylist Didn’t Pay Artist
The artwork in question is in reference to the star’s ‘Renaissance’ album. In the picture here, we can see that the design shows Beyoncé half-naked, as she sits on a silver horse.
And given that the album had so much success, after having gone number one on its debut on the Billboard 200 chart, that understandably left Nusi feeling aggrieved if he was not paid. And that is precisely how he has been left feeling.
In some comments at the time, he said: “I really expected the best from you and your team. But since you won’t responded to texts and emails. I supposed this is the final venue I can utilize before legal means to settle your outstanding balances, that you’ve owed me and my collaborator for about 3 months.”
It is not surprising then, that the singer came out to clarify any misunderstandings that may have come about. After all, the last thing that she needs is negativity casted on the album in light of the success that it has received in the chart position.
That is why she let everybody know in no uncertain terms that nothing could have been further from the truth. In an official statement made on behalf of Beyoncé, a representative said the following: “It is deeply troubling that designer Nusi Quero has posted damaging statements about Marni Senofonte.
“In fact, he was paid for his work, and there is proof of all payments made.” The only thing left to do is let the legal process play out, should Nusi decide to pursue it.
