‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) may forgive Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) for revealing Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) secrets, but will Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) disagree with her husband’s choice? One of the reasons Summer and Kyle are such a strong, successful couple is their ability to get on the same page.
Instead of conflict, Kyle and Summer usually have a civil debate until one of them agrees. Summer and Kyle clearly communicate well, but their marriage can’t last forever, can it? Because this is a soap opera, there will constantly be small cracks in a relationship that, depending on what the writers decide, will either grow larger or be patched up. Because Diane is keeping her connection to Tucker hidden, Summer and Kyle may face a marriage test.
To be honest, Diane appears to be avoiding the truth. Diane’s deception of Kyle and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) may end up costing her more than the secret itself. Tucker isn’t popular in Genoa City, but she wasn’t out on bank robberies or serial killer sprees with him.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Will Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) Forgive His Mother For Shady Past?
So far, Diane seems to have done nothing more than repeat what she has learned about the Abbott world. After forgiving Diane for staging her horrifying murder and disappearing for years, Kyle can certainly forgive some minor spy work!
Who cares if Tucker may have assisted Diane in arranging a meeting between Jack and his granddaughter Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang)? The entire situation was strange in and of itself, but because Allie was such a welcome addition, Kyle and Jack have moved on.
As far as anyone knows, Diane hasn’t committed any particularly heinous crimes that could land her in jail. Kyle is aware of Tucker’s intimidating demeanor and that Diane is still a work in progress.
