The singer is no stranger to pushing the limits when it comes to her appearance after she suggested that she was considering getting elf-ear surgery. And as part of that process, fans speculated over whether she had gone through with it after she shared a picture of her head being bandaged.
Much in the same way, Grimes could now turn herself towards tattoos. In a post to her fans on social media, Grimes shared a picture of herself looking into the distance. The post was captioned by the following comments: “I am very seriously considering getting a white ink tattoo on my face next week.
“Any thoughts? “It feels like it’s time.” With that being said, there are a lot of talking points. A certain subset of people were against Grimes’ decision to go ahead with the tattoo since it would have an impact on her natural beauty. Not only that, others felt she was desperate for clout.
One person wrote: “Post-billionaire body dysmorphia phase in full swing! Don’t slice off too much of yourself, you are fine just as you are,” while another person stated: “This is hard to watch.
“She fell in love with an older, richer and more powerful man. He coldly lost interest after the baby, and now she is stuck doing these surgery stunts for attention.”
Nevertheless, Grimes has shown time and again that she will do what she thinks is best regardless of what others may have to say about it all. This was most notably seen when she was heavily criticised over her comments for wanting to transform herself into a full alien body.
Time will tell whether Grimes does end up going ahead with this, but based on what we have seen so far, there is not a lot of enthusiasm for it. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this?
