Olivia Wilde Denies Claims That Her Beau Harry Styles Spat At Chris Pine
Speculation emerged that the stars of ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ had suffered a fall out following this video, which allegedly shows Styles making a gesture with his mouth with Chris then looking at his hands, thus signifying an act of spitting.
While that may have been the case, Olivia let everybody know in no uncertain terms that nothing of the sort had happened. In an interview on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” she said: “He did not. I think it’s a perfect example of people who look for drama anywhere they can.
“Harry did not spit on Chris, in fact. He really didn’t!” Olivia has been backed up by Chris’ representatives who have also shut down suggestions that this happened. And in the process of doing so, Chris’ team made it very clear that this was just an attempt to generate a tabloid story for clout.
Not only that, but the pair apparently have a lot of respect for each other which came across on the set. In an official statement on behalf of Chris, a representative stated the following: “This is a ridiculous story.
“A complete fabrication and the result of an odd online illusion that is clearly deceiving and allows for foolish speculation. Just to be clear, Harry Styles did not spit on Chris Pine. There is nothing but respect between these two men.”
The fans on social media were convinced by Olivia’s comments. This was primarily on the basis that Chris’ reaction would have been much worse had Harry actually spat on him.
One person wrote: “How could he spit on him with his mouth closed? oh and besides, IF he DID spit, chris must’ve liked it since moments later they were having a blast together.”
