With the new season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, fans have been shocked to see what has happened so far. The drama just keeps building and the tension is high now that most of the couples are married. One couple that has had a very tough time is Sumit Singh and Jenny Slatten.

In the first episode of the show, Sumit invited his family over to share with them that they finally got married. This wasn’t what Jenny wanted because she knows that his family will be upset. In fact, they were. When Sumit told his parents that he was married to Jenny, his parents basically disowned him.

When Sumit told his parents about his marriage, their disapproval became clear once again. The fact that Jenny is 30 years older than Sumit has really gotten to them and they have always been unhappy about this relationship. Sumit has told his parents for ten years about Jenny and has tried his best to get their approval and blessing.

Although Jenny thought that they did give their blessing, they refused to do so. Clearly, there was some confusion on Jenny’s part. While Sumit is talking to his parents, it is clear to Jenny that they are not happy and Sumit felt like he had his heart ripped out.

He told the cameras, “I don’t know how to exist without my mother. And without my mom, I’m an outcast here in India.” His mother then tells him, “It’s either Jenny or your mother and father.” While this is going on, Jenny feels that he isn’t saying anything and he is not standing up for her. She says to the cameras, “I’m left sitting by myself here wondering what’s happening. What about me? I need to be comforted too. It does scare me that Sumit is choosing his mom over me again.”

Sumit told Jenny that this all went really badly and Jenny begins to scream in his face. Jenny felt that she needed to be comforted, but Sumit felt so mad about his family’s talk that he couldn’t be sympathetic to her. That is when Jenny pushed him away and told him, “Get away from me! Forever! Understand? You think I’m not f*****g hurting? Why don’t you care about me a little bit too?”

When Jenny pushes him, he fell to his knees and then told the cameras, “The situation is getting worse and worse. My mother just disowned me. So, right now, I need Jenny’s support. And I need to know that she’s gonna be there for me because I just sacrificed my family for the woman I love and she’s screaming at me. That is not acceptable.”

These two did end up apologizing, but they also mentioned that they have some issues that need to be resolved.

Stay tuned to 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After on TLC on Sundays at 8 p.m. EST.
