‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that someone broke into Kevin Fisher’s (Greg Rikaart) car and took his work laptop, someone that was hired by Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to grab it without leaving any trace he was there. While they now have the laptop, and Adam thinks he’s clean, we think there might be a bit more they didn’t realize.

That laptop probably has a tracker on it, and the preview we saw of Kevin banging on the door isn’t a surprise anymore. He knows who is in the room and what he’s doing with the laptop, but here’s the thing… Adam is doing the right thing. He gave Kevin a chance to look back into the Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) case, and he didn’t.

“Adam will go through all means to obtain more information on the Ashland Locke case.”

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) Is RIGHT And Here’s Why

Adam may be doing the “wrong” thing in terms of the law, but why is it suddenly A CRIME for him to do something but not his father? Adam, in a roundabout way, is doing the right thing and trying to make sure this just doesn’t quietly go away like the rest of the Newman crimes.

This is the kind of attitude it will take to take down someone like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), and while we know Kevin is going to know what happened and who took his laptop, maybe while he’s pounding on the other side of the door, he’ll realize that Adam might be right about this whole thing and that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) wasn’t being 100% truthful about his findings.

Adam has a real chance at coming around and proving that Victor is responsible for more in the Ashland case and potentially getting him sent to jail unless, of course, Adam goes to prison first.

What do you think? Do you agree with what Adam is doing or do you think he should just let it go and stop breaking the law? Let us know in the comments below.
