According to law enforcement sources, Anne Heche was under the influence of cocaine and possibly fentanyl when she crashed her car into a house last Friday. She was not drunk at the time. The department tested the blood they took from Anne after she was admitted to the hospital, and they discovered fentanyl in addition to cocaine.

To ascertain whether fentanyl was in her system at the time of the crash, more testing and investigation are required. According to our sources, fentanyl is occasionally used as a pain reliever in hospitals.

We are also informed that Anne’s condition is critical and has not gotten any better since being admitted to the hospital. As we previously mentioned, Anne is in critical condition and has been fighting for her life. Last Friday in a residential area of Los Angeles, Anne was traveling at a very high speed in her Mini Cooper when she crashed into a car, a garage, and then a house, starting a fire that left her with serious burns.

Ex-girlfriend Ellen DeGeneres was tracked down on the street and asked if she had spoken to Anne recently. Ellen seemed very cold to the situation and didn’t answer much, though we understand being mobbed on the street about an ex probably isn’t fun.

While we are pulling for Anne and hope she makes it out of this alive, she’s very lucky she didn’t kill someone after driving the way she was. She nearly hit a passerby when she sped down what looked like an alley and crashed through a garage before hitting the house. Thankfully, there was only one other injury, as the person in the home said they had received some cuts that required medical treatment.

What do you think? Why do you think Anne would go speeding around like that after doing cocaine? Let us know in the comments below.
