Travis Scott will be in Las Vegas a year after the Astroworld tragedy.

The musician came under heavy fire, as a reported 10 people died and many others injured during the festival where Scott was accused of not doing enough to ensure that people in the crowd got medical assistance following the crowd crush.

While he has faced a series of lawsuits in the aftermath, this has not seen the star get cancelled. So much so that Scott is expected to play seven shows at the Zouk Nightclub, Las Vegas. Andrew Li, who happens to be the CEO of Zouk Group, had this to say: “Travis Scott was a seamless fit for the Zouk Nightclub roster.

“His electric performances will pair perfectly with our immersive atmosphere, bringing our guests an unmatched show unlike anything else they can find in Las Vegas.”

Travis has slowly been making his way back to the music scene since the scandal. Just this year, he performed at the  Miami-based club E11even in May. Not only that, but the star even played at the afterparty of Coachella, as well as a pre–Oscars’ party.

But whether this will be enough to get him back in the good books of the public is anyone’s guess. This was equally seen though there is one that followed on social media which was very mixed. A certain subset of people were of the view Travis was innocent unless proven otherwise.

Meanwhile, others wanted nothing to do with him until he had been held accountable. One person wrote: “I don’t know why anyone would want to go see him,” while another person stated: “I know everyone is innocent until proven guilty, but a residency before the trials? They’re playing with fire.”

Ultimately, until Travis performs, then we will only know if his career will be as successful as it once was. Until that time arrives, it is just speculation. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
