’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers reveal that Kobe Blaise was feeling mighty left out at fiancé Emily Beiberly’s simply because her bed was not big enough for the two of them, and baby Koban who still co-sleeps with Emily. Kobe was relegated to his own room when he first came to Emily’s, however, now since things are acclimated and they’re sure that he’s staying and they know they’re getting married, it’s time to replace Emily’s bed with a brand new one so Kobe can be more comfortable.
(And perhaps Koban can eventually move into Kobe’s old room, they didn’t say that but one wonders if that was the plan.) Then came time for the family to help Kobe ring shop – and he took Emily’s Dad and sister with him.
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Kobe gets a bed and… another ring?
Even though Emily’s Dad had shot down his dreams a couple of weeks ago and said that there was no way the amount of money he had saved ($4K) was enough to support a family and get an apartment, he stood by his future son-in-law anyway and went with him to buy an $1100 ring for Emily.
Emily’s sister said that she felt sorry for Kobe, but Emily’s Dad said that he knew that Emily wanted things her way and he wanted to make sure that Kobe could possibly find a happy medium with his daughter. That’s a good father-in-law, one that stands by you and shells out money even when he thinks you’re making the wrong decision, ultimately.
Will this decision come back to bite them? Maybe. It’ll all depend on how things go when Emily and Kobe go to get married and move out, but at least her Dad was willing to give her the illusion of the wedding that she wanted. As for Emily buying her own ring, we’ll just have to see how she reacts to the ring that Kobe got her once he presents it – let’s hope it’s not like that one episode of Sex and the City where Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) saw the ring and immediately threw up, because that’s what I’m imagining.
