Sami divided her parents when she made the decision to join the platform. Charlie, for his part, made it very clear that he was not happy with the decision. So much so that he went on to state this ‘did not occur under his roof.’
In comparison, Sami’s mother Denise Richards was quite the opposite. She came out to back her daughter and vowed to ‘support’ her come what may. And that division was equally seen on Sami’s social media when the troll wrote the following comments: “Do you really think you have the body for [it] lol.”
Those comments summed up exactly the problems that can emerge when a person decides to expose themselves online. And this objectification is something that Sami will have to contend with if she wants to pursue this venture.
But rather than becoming downbeat about it all, Sami decided to respond in a more philosophical way. She responded by focusing on how everybody is unique and showed that point with the following post.
In the picture here, we can see that Sami is holding a plate of some pizza slices. Her face is not on the screen, but she did have time to say the following: “Yes because there’s no ‘body’ you need to have in order to do of.
“Only thing that matters is making sure that you’re comfortable with what you’re posting & remembering that all bodies are beautiful.” The response on social media was equally divisive, though.
People understood that Sami would ultimately make her own choices, but felt this was not the best idea going forward considering the backlash she could get. One person wrote: “What a stupid b***h.”
