El Final del Paraíso spoilers indicate that Days of Our lives isn’t the only show playing with time this week. While Days of Our Lives is scheduled to jump forward in time in the Friday, November 8th episode, El Final del Paraíso beat them to it. What does that look like for the series? Here’s what you need to know.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: Time warp 1

The season started with a time jump. In the El Final del Paraíso premiere, we learned that two years passed since season three. In that time, Catalina Santana (Carmen Villalobos) settled into her job as DEA chief in Colombia. Also, Yésica “La Diabla” Beltrán (Kimberly Reyes) took on a new persona and became her right hand. We also saw learned that Mariana Sanín Santana () and the rest of the babes became part of Aáron “Mano Negra” Mondego’s (Juan Pablo Gamboa) organization, as well as the separation of Vanessa Salazar (Estefanía Gómez) and José Luis Vargas (Francisco Bolívar). If that wasn’t enough, two of the other original chicas del barrio had joined up with the DEA. It seems the writers weren’t done with the surprises.

In the Wednesday, November 6th episode, we learned that several months have passed since Alex Mondego (Pedro Calvo) was given the keys to the Mano Negra organization. La Diabla is now married to Alfonso Berrio (Leonardo Acosta), who won the presidency. Joana Andrade (Bárbara Najas) is still planning to kill Doña Hilda Santana (Catherine Siachoque), and Rogelio (Roberto Greco) is currently writing a story about helping Santiago Sanín (Roberto Manrique) and the rest find justice. Surprisingly, no one else has been very busy in this time. Cata Grande is still trying to unmask “Valeria Montes” (Reyes), Cuina (Jimena Galvis) hasn’t killed her target, and Joana is still biding her time as well. Nice to see they’ve been so productive. Especially since Joana hired one of their own to do the Doña Hilda hit. Seriously? And she’s still one the loose? Worst authorities ever.

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: The exception

The one person we bet hasn’t been idle is Alex. In fact, we’re assuming this months-long jump is partially because of him. With the season ending in about a month, they can’t wait waste episodes waiting for him to finally put himself into a position to be a threat. Also, we’re guessing they want the Diabla unmasking to be more dramatic. And what could be worse than learning the first lady is a dangerous criminal?

El Final del Paraíso spoilers: What’s next?

Much like with the daytime counterpart, the writers have a lot of freedom. Literally anything is possible, as evidenced by Aurelio “El Titi” Jaramillo (Gregorio Pernía) revealing himself to Cata Grande. He’s willing to turn in everyone he’s connected with, so this is going to get ugly. We are totally here for it. Diabla was also made aware of Titi’s living status in this episode, so expect her to go on the offensive against the only other one who can unmask her.

She’s a recent Days of Our Lives convert, having grown up on the nighttime shows of the '90s. She’s also an accomplished writer in many fields, including paranormal fiction. Jamie loves the crazy twists that Soap Opera writers come up with, even though she's sometimes yelling at the characters. As a published and accomplished writer, she knows how to get into the minds of the writers and is usually bang on in predicting plot twists before they come to life. When she’s not writing for Daily Soap Dish, Jamie binge watches telenovelas as a way to improve her Spanish. They also fuel her muse, which tends to upset her readers.
