Isaiah Lee, the man who was claimed to have attacked Dave Chappelle in Los Angeles, has allegedly been charged with attempted murder.
Dave Chappelle’s Attacker Charged With Attempted Murder-‘He Looks Crazy As Hell’
According to reports, the authorities had decided to take him in after an apparent fight broke out with his roommate on Thursday, 2nd December 2021. And as part of that process, it suggested that Isaiah had stabbed the victim.
Isiah has apparently responded by pleading not guilty to attempted murder, but one thing for sure is that his actions have not helped the situation. The authorities stated that his attack on Dave Chappelle ultimately raised his name in the media, which led them to apprehending Isiah on these current grounds.
George Gascón, who happiness to be a District Attorney, had this to say: “The publicity generated by the attack on Mr. Chappelle helped police solve this crime… Based on the nature and severity of the December attack, Mr. Lee is now facing felony charges which my office will prosecute.”
These comments are very significant for the following reasons. First of all, it demonstrates that Dave had a lucky escape. Rather than Isaiah acting through publicity, it demonstrates that he does have a violent tendency. And who knows what could have happened to Dave had the security not intervened.
After all, Isaiah did allegedly pull out a replica gun that had a folded knife. Secondly, the chances of Isiah having any leeway in the justice system looks slim. It was one thing when it came to Dave’s attack, but another one entirely when it involves attempted murder.
With that being said, the fans on social media demanded that something be done. One person wrote: “As he should be, he looks crazy as hell.” The only thing left to do is let the authorities investigate the matter and come to a conclusion. Time will tell how it all plays out.
