’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers tells that before model Kobe came to the US he had invested $2K of his earnings into a cafe in Africa, but he said that the cafe was not profitable at all so he had to end up selling off his interest in the cafe in order to come to the US.
He did admit that the business was not as profitable as he thought it would be when he initially invested, okay we get it, everything shut down during COVID and no one could have predicted the way that was going to impact the world, but instead of beating around the bush about things he could have just been honest and told fiancé Emily the truth about his finances.
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Surprise, Kobe Blaise IS BROKE! – Why Wouldn’t He Just Tell The Truth?
Instead, when she point-blank asked him about how much money he had brought with him to the US he told her “it’s a surprise”. Wow, it’s one thing not to say how much he was bringing over the phone, but not to own up to it when the woman is asking you, face to face, because she has to buy diapers for your child is kind of a low move.
She says she thinks it’s a pride move and she gets it, but at the same time they need to be able to pay for things in the US and it doesn’t look like her parents are going to be too understanding since she’s already under a strict “no pregnancy” mandate.
Honestly, it doesn’t seem like that would have been a problem because all Kobe wanted to do when he got to the US was meet his son, Cobin, and Emily said that she wanted one night with just the two of them together because she feels that that would be the only time that she would get together with him. She feel that after little Cobin is introduced that everything will be about him and she’s not wrong, parenting will take up a good portion of their time.
Kobe doesn’t seem to realize this, one kind of wonders what parenting is like in his culture that he’s not so worried about it, perhaps he’s one of those that feels that parenting is primarily a woman’s job… let’s hope not for Emily’s sake. Still, Kobe needs to realize that it takes money to support a family in the US… we’ll see just how ready for that he is. Stay tuned!!!
