The pair had initially split up after being together for one year which included getting engaged. But soon after they were spotted together on numerous occasions which fuelled speculation that perhaps they were going to give things another go.
They were seen boarding a private jet together which then coincided with the news that Aaron had signed a new contract with the Green Bay Packers. Despite the attempts at giving things another shot, for Shailene, it seems that there was nothing new that could be gained.
A source said: “She quickly saw that everything was on his terms and nothing was going to change. There was no reason to continue, and she’s done with it again.”
Prior to this revelation, it was clear that the pair were on different terms. Reports stated that the relationship had initially stumbled because Aaron was putting too much focus on his NFL career.
And after having signed a new deal with the Green Bay Packers, it was clear that nothing had changed in that way. Secondly, it was also claimed that the pair were very different politically.
Although it is not clear what that meant in terms of impacting their relationship, one thing for sure is that Aaron is certainly not shy in expressing his political views. After all, we did see this in his approach towards his Covid 19 vaccine scandal.
The star defended himself after being accused of misleading the media when he told them he was immunised against Covid only to then state he was unvaccinated. The fans on social media were not surprised by the split.
A certain subset of people felt that Aaron was simply a very complicated person to deal with and therefore he was not for everyone. One person wrote: “Aaron Rodgers has far too many issues. I wouldn’t want to commit to him either.”
