’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers tells that when we got to know Jibri and Miona last week we learned the Jibri is a guy that likes loud, colorful clothing and has a distinct style. He is dating Miona, a Serbian girl who looks a bit more ethnic than her heritage would imply (which has caused people to accuse her of blackfishing on Instagram), during the pandemic Jibri traveled all the way to Serbia to be with Miona and that has caused some tension between him and his Serbian friend, Daveed.
Daveed is a Serbian ex-pat who now lives in the US and together he and Jibri formed a band called The Black Serbs, but the pandemic made everything come to a screeching halt musically.
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: How Serious is Jibri Bell’s Commitment, Really?
However, one could see where Daveed would feel slighted by Miona’s presence, considering Jibri put the band on hold to go and be with her in Serbia during lock down but he couldn’t manage to focus on the band.
Granted, no one could really do anything entertainment-wise during lock down (and its still not advisable now) but since the vaccine has come out there’s at least the possibility of going to concerts and gathering in public again. It does beg the question though, is Jibri really serious about his commitment to the band he and Daveed made?
He told his parents and he keeps telling Miona that all it will take is ‘one song’ and he can keep her up in the lifestyle that she’s become accustomed. (She looks like she, at the very least wants a ‘that girl’ type Instagram lifestyle, somewhat akin to the Kardashians) but one wonders how big of a commitment he’s in it for with Daveed because so far we’ve seen Jibri record songs by himself but we haven’t really seen him put forth any real effort with the band.
So maybe that’s where Daveed’s salitness came from when he said “Good luck with that” with Miona because he kind of knows that Jibri won’t be the type to really put in the long hours it takes to get that lifestyle that he keeps trying to sell Miona on.
It seems that Daveed has seen the writing on the wall when it comes to Jibri, but does he have a sixth sense when it comes to Miona as well? He doesn’t seem to trust her and he seems to think that they’re not well-suited to each other.
One could see where he would think that because Jibri does seem to have an unrealistic set of expectations for himself as does Miona… but we’ll see how this turns out. Is Daveed right or is Jibri right to feel insulted? Stay tuned!!!
