Bachelor In Paradise season 7 was one of the most fraught with drama seasons to date with not one but two couple accused of coming to the Mexican beach already in a couple.
While the attention was mainly centered on coupled-up big fish Brendan Morais and Pieper James after being busted on a hot mic discussing the growth of their social media followings while disparaging fan-favorite, Natasha Parker (who was used to keep Brendan around until Pieper arrived0, there was another couple set packing from the beach by what have been labeled ‘big bullies’.

Alana Milne and Chris Conran recently appeared on the Here For the Right Reasons podcast to claim that, during BIP season 7, they were, in fact, there for the right reasons.
Now admitting to being a couple, both Alana and Chris hotly deny being such prior to seeing each other on the BIP beach, or even during their very short (especially for Alana) time in Mexico. They also claim the were victimized by their former co-stars, especially beloved grocer, Joe Amabile.
Joining Amabile in his ‘quest’ against Alana and Chris was Jessenia Cruz who claimed Alana openly admitted to being likeminded to Brendan and Pieper, joining the cast in hopes to increase her social media followers. Alana denies saying or even thinking this.
Interestingly, Jessenia was interested in Chris prior to Alana’s arrival, even dumping Ivan Hall to pursue him.
Chris told the podcast that his better known fellow beach-goers were relying on their fandom when ousting the ‘not-then, but now’ couple.
“I was getting picked on by the big bullies who were really well-known and knew that they had the supporters back home to back ’em up, no matter what they said on the show, no matter what they did,” Chris claimed before expressing regret for not speaking up against the accusations harder.
The pair did refute what their fellow cast were saying about them, but they were ‘voted off the island’ anyway.
But their story has a happy ending. They may not have gained (influencer) fame and (corporate sponsor) fortune, Chris and Alana are ‘now’ a couple as they ‘reconnected after filming’. They’ve even recently moved in together- in Mexico
Talk about full circle!
Though it may be too early to speculate over wedding bells, one thing that’s for sure, their fellow season 7 paradisoes would not receive a wedding invitation.
After explaining that no cast members have reached out to apologize, Alana told the podcast, “I’ll never have any of those people in my life in any capacity.” Proving she’s not all talk, Alana has removed many franchise alums from her social media.
