Joe Alwyn has continued to stay quiet on the rumours about him being engaged/married to Taylor Swift.

Their relationship has been well-documented due to their varying backgrounds. While they both work in the entertainment industry, Joe as an actor in comparison to Taylor who is a singer, they are both from different worlds.
Joe is British and Taylor is from the states. And with so much that the fans are wanting to know, Joe has in true fashion continued to tease them. In an interview with WSJ magazine, he said: “If I had a pound for every time I think I’ve been told I’ve been engaged, then I’d have a lot of pound coins.
“I mean, the truth is, if the answer was yes, I wouldn’t say.” This is not the first time that speculation has emerged about their relationship status. In 2020, Taylor was reportedly pictured wearing a ring on her finger as part of her documentary entailed ‘Miss Americana.”
To make things even more interesting, Taylor followed this up with a rather pronounced music video for her song ‘Willow.’ In that video, she was seen wearing a wedding dress. And the fans automatically took that to mean that she had gotten married.
And yet, Joe is not going to revealing things anytime soon. He added: “We live in a culture that people expect so much to be given. So that if you’re not posting all the time…does that make you a recluse…If you give it to them, it just opens the door.”
The reaction from the fans on social media was conclusive. A significant proportion of people were convinced that the couple had gotten engaged or married. And that it would not be long before an official announcement was made at some point in the future. One person wrote: “So he’s engaged.”
