Eve, for her part, is a journalist. She is known for having appeared in publications for the New York Magazine. And yet, her journalistic skills were no where to be seen as she was caught texting and posting on social media while she was in the courtroom.
Naturally, that did not go down very well especially since it was in violation of the courtroom rules. After all, such a privilege is only allowed for the legal members of the team.
But rather than letting that slide, the judge let Eve know in no uncertain terms that this was not going to be tolerated. Thus, she was ejected. With that being said, this could prove to be a blow for Amber in light of the following comments.
A source said: “Amber had her closest journalist friend…live-tweeting, texting and posting information. Eve Barlow seems to think she’s part of Amber’s legal team. Depp’s lawyers finally had enough and had her barred from the courtroom.”
This ultimately could come back to haunt Amber, particularly since the lawsuit is alleged to be $50 million. Amber has yet to respond to this, which is understandable, as it is hardly going to make her appear very popular.
Therefore, it is probably wise that she avoids any further trouble in order to make herself look more favorable towards the judge. Nevertheless, the damage may already have been done, at least in the eyes of the public. And this was reflected in the comments that followed on social media.
A significant proportion of people blasted Amber for trying to meddle in the court process. And they hoped that she would come out on the wrong side of the lawsuit. One person wrote: “Quite telling that Amber Heard & Eve Barlow are connected. Both very EVIL women. Birds of a feather flock together!”
