Trisha Paytas just proclaimed on her new family channel (her old Trisha Paytas vlog channel) that she is pro-choice, this came in response to the Labrant Family’s documentary on their family channel which they’re currently getting canceled for an anti-abortion documentary that goes as far as to compare humane abortion to the horrors of the holocaust and other atrocities committed against humankind.
Trisha watched this documentary and was appalled by it and said it was dangerous because it did not paint a complete picture of abortion, rather it regurgitated anti-abortion points complete with disturbing imagery right out of every anti-abortion activist’s playbook.
The Labrant Family Documentary Makes Trisha Paytas Cry
Trisha brought up an interesting point, she said if they were going to do this kind of documentary that they needed to interview people who had actually had abortions who were going on to live their lives and thriving from it as well as those who regretted it and perhaps what they were doing to prevent pregnancy in the future, which does sound like a good direction to take then again it’s Trisha she’s bound to offend someone even if her talking points in this video were perfectly valid.
She said that she thought that the LaBrant family was using their platform irresponsibly and glorifying a narrative that may not be possible for everyone. While it may be Trisha and she may be controversial sometimes – her talking point on this video is perfectly valid.
She did say that she wasn’t actually trying to come for the LaBrant family, but she did think that what they were doing was wrong and she thought that youtube needed to remove the video because it was dangerous and harmful.
In this video Trisha lamented the fact that there are so many babies that do come into this world and are unwanted and unloved and end up being abandoned and abused as a result of the Mom not having adequate access to healthcare – and that is a legit reason to lament.
She also lamented her own struggles with fertility in the video and said that as much as she had wanted a child, there had been times when she thought she could have been pregnant by “the wrong person and wouldn’t have wanted to bring that baby into this world”. Which is perfectly valid.
As problematic as Trisha has been in the past, this seems to be one of the most well-thought-out opinions that she has ever posted on her channel. Stay tuned!!!
