If you were a fan of Toddlers & Tiaras, you may remember Honey Boo Boo. She was the chubby,sugared-up pageant queen who often would drink Mountain Dew and call it her “go-go juice”. She went on to become the star of her own show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, and then appeared on a few other shows with her family. It seemed as if there was so much momentum with her and then she just fell off the planet. What happened to her and what is she doing now? Is she still drinking “go-go juice?”

    Where is She Now?

Alana Thompson, Honey Boo Boo, is now a teenager. She is 16 and still living with her older sister. She has basically been in the public eye since she was a child, along with her mother, June Shannon. Here Comes Honey Boo Boo premiered back in 2021 and she and her family became even more famous when it began.

What Is Honey Boo Boo Doing Now?

In 2014, her family was involved in a pretty intense scandal after her mother was arrested for possession of crack cocaine. She has done some stints in rehab as well, but Alana wants her fans to understand that she is not her mother’s poor choices in life and she is doing the best that she can and trying to be a normal teenager.

Alana doesn’t want her fans to think that she is another television star. She loves hanging out with her friends and doesn’t seem to like being in the spotlight too much anymore. She told her fans, “I guess people still expect me to be little Honey Boo Boo and I’m not anymore. Just because I’m from the South, people expect me to be all country bumpkin, out riding four-wheelers all the time, but that’s not really how it is.”

Alana seems to have found her confidence and has started to share her love of beauty and fashion. She has 1.7 million followers and it looks as if she really is trying to shake the stigma of being Honey Boo Boo. Alana is trying to help kids her age understand body positivity as well because she has been body shamed since she was a child.

You can keep up with Alana on her Instagram account and see what she is up to these days. It seems as if she is an influencer now and shares quite a bit of information on new beauty products that she loves too. We are happy that she is doing well and hope that things just keep getting better for her.
