‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that March Madness is here, and Y&R couldn’t let March get away without having some fun. In a new clip, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) finds himself in a love triangle with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Xavier’s lovable mascot, Blue Blob.
While they tried everything they could to make a fun, hilarious, serious scene, it looks like Morrow couldn’t hold it together as several times in the video you can see him crack a smile. We can’t blame him. After watching the clip a few times, I couldn’t believe they were able to even get it finished. Take a look at the clip below.

Fans reacted to the video saying, “Y’all are so silly. Too funny. Nick was trying to keep from laughing.”, “I love this so much CBS!!! March Madness full force Thursday and Friday!!! Great job Josh(Nick) and Michelle (Phyllis) Young and the Restless!!! Outstanding job!!!”, “I’m so dumb when it comes to sports and these little skits! 😆”, “I don’t know how they kept from laughing! Great actors!”, “A+ lol. I kinda knew what was coming but it was still well done”, and “If they were still together it would make more sense and yes I know it’s supposed to be funny.”
Nick and Phyllis may not be together anymore, but this scene was oddly believable. It seems like something stupid that they would argue about then ultimately break up.
Good luck to everyone on their March Madness brackets and we wonder if ole’ Blue Blob could make a cameo sometime soon.
