Kristen Stewart may have been nominated for an Oscar for her role in playing ‘Princess Diana’ in the film ‘Spencer,’ but in real life, the actress is not too clued up about the Royal family.
Kristen Stewart Had No Clue About Where Prince Harry Lives Despite Playing His Mother In ‘Spencer’
Kristen had made it clear that she had undergone extensive research in order to prepare her for the role. And this groundwork was there for all to see, given the mass acclaim she has now received.
However, during the course of an interview, Kristen let slip that she did not know much about Diana’s son, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. So much so that she was unaware that they are in the same country as her, or perhaps, which actual state.
When asked about where the couple live, this is what Kristen had to say: “That’s so funny. I wonder where [they live in California]. I’m no better than anyone! Of course I want to know.”
It is surprising to hear that Kristen has not met Harry nor Meghan, given that she was playing such an iconic character that will always be connected to the former.
Not only that, but Kristen was born in Los Angeles, the same place as Meghan, which made it more likely that they could have come across each other.
Nevertheless, once Kristen realised that they live in Santa Barbara, she was not surprised to hear it. After all, it is not exactly an area that many people can afford. She added: “That makes sense. It’s really nice up there.”
However, it is important to remember that sources claimed Harry was not too keen on the film. This may explain why Kristen never crossed paths with the couple. After all, she could have gained a lot of insight about Diana for the role from Harry.
A prior source remarked: “It’s struck a sour note with Harry. He’s pretty appalled by the film. Harry’s not one to be fake, and his nerves are still raw.
“He’s actually thinking about skipping the Oscars, but Meghan really wants back into the Hollywood scene.” So there you have it folks. What did you think about this?
