‘General Hospital’ spoilers finds that while there’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that ‘General Hospital’ star Chloe Lanier (Nelle Benson) is a very talented actress, we had no idea that she was also a very talented writer, too! As a matter of fact, the daytime television star has just co-written and co-directed a short film called The Reveal. Here’s what you need to know.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Chloe Lanier (Nelle Benson) Has A Huge New Project With Hayley Erin- The Reveal!
What makes this project very special is that Chloe Lanier got to work with her real life boyfriend, Kevan Mclellan. The film is about a “couple attending their hippie friends’ gender reveal party and with the help of an IndieGoGo fundraiser, were able to make the short film as a proof-of-concept in the hopes of getting financing to produce it as a feature.”
Chloe Lanier spoke to ABC Soaps in Depth about the short film. She told the publication that she was incredibly proud of the work that both she and Kevan put in to make it happen.
“Kevan McLellan is a fantastic actor and writer,” Chloe wrote on her Instagram account. “Earlier this year, out of frustration and an unrelenting urge to put my own creative stamp on a project, I begged him to write something with me. Thus, we wrote The Reveal. I’ve never been more proud of anything in my life. Our entire cast and crew were phenomenal and made this three-day shoot absolutely unforgettable. We’re filled with gratitude for everyone who showed up, made us laugh, and helped us create a little slice of cinema.”
With that said, we have no doubt in our minds that a lot of ‘General Hospital’ fans will be checking out the film to help support Chloe. After all, daytime television viewers and fans are some of the most loyal if not best ones in the world, right?
