Kanye West has made another attempt to attack Pete Davidson by encouraging those who work with him to cut ties.
Kanye West Promises To Double Comedian Michael Che’s Salary If He Stops Working With Pete Davidson-‘$90k Per Year!’
It is no secret that Pete is one of the biggest names in the comedy circuit, as demonstrated by the fact that he regularly appears on Saturday Night Live.
Although he has managed to develop a big fanbase, it has not stopped Kanye from trying to throw a spanner in the works. So much so that he decided to approach fellow comedian Michael Che and request that he stop working with Pete.
In a post to his fans on social media, Kanye said: “@chethinks I’LL DOUBLE WHATEVER THEY PAYING YOU JUST SO YOU DONT HAVE TO LOOK AT THAT PAWN EVER AGAIN BIG LOVE.”
Although the attempt at doubling the salary was very tempting, it was not enough to sway Michael’s opinion. This is hardly a surprise given that Michael and Pete have been friends for numerous years.
Therefore, the last thing that you would have expected to see was Michael accepting some money and then throwing their friendship away. In response, Michael said: “Sorry Ye, but I would never betray my friends.”
Nevertheless, that did not stop Michael from trying to go along with the offer. And it seemed that he was trying to get a better deal, as he even suggested that perhaps he would consider it, if he was given a variety of other benefits.
Clearly, this had to be in jest especially since he is a comedian. And yet, who knows if it will work. Michael continued: “[I won’t leave] for anything less than TRIPLE salary.
“That’s right, $90k per year! Full medical. Full dental. Four weeks vacay. Corner office. Plus, a pair of Red Octobers. Size 12. And you gotta make some beats for my band, The Slap Butts.”
Things are clearly getting out of control and somebody needs to reign in Kanye’s behavior. Otherwise, there is a chance that he says or does something that he may regret, which is only going to impact his relationship with his kids. So there you have it folks.
