Julia Fox has spoken on what it has been like to be compared to Kanye West’s ex Kim Kardashian.
Julia Fox Does Not Like Being Compared To Kim Kardashian-‘It Is Unfortunate’
It is no secret that there are going to be comparisons made between Julia and Kim, especially in light of the fact that Kanye had expressed how he wanted Kim back publicly even when she did hook up with Pete Davidson.
Although Julia is a successful person in her own right, as demonstrated by her modeling as well as her acting career, the very fact of the matter is that she has been brought up in the conversation by virtue of being in the middle of Kanye’s social media feud with Kim.
And that is something that she really wants to not be around. During an interview on the “Call Her Daddy’ podcast, Julia said: “Obviously, I’m not on [Kardashian and West’s] level [of fame] but I feel like I put in the work and I can hang.
“We’ve worn some similar looks…It is unfortunate because women are just always being pitted against each other.” That is why Julia is deciding not to interfere in any issues that Kanye may have with his ex.
And this is understandable for the following reasons. First of all, Kanye and Kim managed to have children together which suggests that they will always be involved in each other’s lives.
Secondly, given that Julia is in a very good place with herself, the last thing that she wants to do is rock the boat by imposing herself on Kim.
She added: “I don’t want to ever step out of line and speak on something that I have no place speaking on…but obviously people want to run with the nastier narrative and make people feel bad.”
And yet, not everybody has been convinced by Julia’s intentions. A certain subset of people believe that her relationship with Kanye was simply designed to generate publicity.
This is especially in light of reports that the pair are in an open relationship. After all, if they were serious about committing to each other, there would be no reason for doing such a thing.
But Julia defended herself by claiming that she had a career in her own right prior to meeting Kanye. She continued: “I’ve had my history of fashion as well. I didn’t just pop out of nowhere.”
