Comic Heather McDonald had reportedly collapsed during her performance on stage over the weekend and fractured her skull.
Comic Heather McDonald Collapses On Stage Despite Being ‘Double Vaxxed’
Reports indicate that Heather was having a show at the Tempe Improv, Arizona. And during the course of that performance, she had started to feel unwell after only just the second joke.
But the joke was actually quite telling in light of what she had said. Heather had been mocking those who had not taken the vaccination by stating that she had taken all of her necessary shots.
In a joke at the time, she remarked: “I’m vaxxed, double vaxxed, boosted … and flu shot and shingle shot and haven’t gotten COVID and Jesus loves me most.”
She then collapsed on the floor with a certain subset of the audience believing that it was a part of her act. But when it became clear that it was anything but that, urgent medical assistance was on hand to make sure she was fine.
It is not exactly clear what caused her to feel like this, but prior to it happening she had apparently felt quite dizzy. The response on social media was clearly quite provocative.
A significant proportion of people felt that perhaps the vaccination program may have caused her to collapse. After all, not only did she say that she had been fully vaccinated as part of her routine, it is also claimed that she had never felt like this before.
As such, people began to make a connection between her taking the vaccine and her feeling unwell. Meanwhile, others were of the view that such claims were merely part of a misinformation campaign that has plagued the pandemic since its inception.
One person wrote: “I collapsed just like that in my bathroom a couple of months back. I think I broke my nose but I had already been to the hospital emergency room twice.
“I had severe reactions from the pfizer jab & wasn’t about to repeat that horror a 3rd time.” Let us hope that Heather is able to overcome this and get back to her usual self.
