The Masked Singer spoilers find that there has been a very controversial unmasking already on the upcoming season 7 of the “talent” show. So controversial that all protocols were broken and, before the season has even started airing, we already know who one of the anonymous singers is.

And two of the judges were NOT happy when they discovered his identity.

Polarizing former New York City mayor, Rudy Giuliani was unmasked during a taping and both comedian, Ken Jeong and singer, Robin Thicke walked off the set in protest of ex-President, Donald Trump’s former attorney.

Fellow judges Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger, along with host, Nick Cannon reportedly remained on stage and we’re told Jeong and Thicke both eventually returned to their spots behind the judge’s podium. Cameras rolled and caught alllll the action.

Rudy Giuliani was once a national hero who refused to let then reality star/ business man Donald Trump buy him breakfast. However, the now the 77 year old fell out of favor quickly when serving as the personal attorney for former President Trump. He has also displayed some puzzling behavior of late, like sweating through his dye job and shaving at an airport restaurant.

As soon as news broke that Giuliani was a contestant on the surreal reality competition, Twitter lit up like a Christmas tree (and Masked Singer producers everywhere pulled off their best Mr. Burns’ “excellent”)

Unless he’s running away from the police on “Cops” Giuliani should not be invited to be on Television. Terrible judgment #maskedsinger #rudygiuliani

Giuliani isn’t the first politically “controversial” (or in some people’s words, politically criminal) contestant to appear on a reality show.

During the third season of The Masked Singer, the former governor of Alaska and Vice President hopeful Sarah Palin was unveiled from behind the Bear mask.

Sean Spicer, best known to be parodied by the hilarious Melissa McCarthy on Saturday Night Live, second best as an American political aide who served as the 30th White House Press Secretary and as White House Communications Director under former President  Trump was a (short lived) contestant on Dancing With the Stars during its 28th season.

It was even rumored that Hope Hicks, a political adviser who served during former  President Donald Trump’s administration would be a Celebrity Big Brother houseguest this spring, however, that was proven to be false when the cat list was announced on February 3.

The Masked Singer is set to return season seven on Fox on March 9.
