Prince Charles has inadvertently gotten himself involved in Prince Harry’s security issues on the grounds of a previous report that has resurfaced online.
Prince Charles Gets Himself Involved In Prince Harry’s Security Row After Old Report Resurfaces
Harry, for his part, is engaged in a judicial review on the grounds that he wants to fund his own security if he were to travel to the UK with his family. This is on the grounds that he no longer feels it is safe to visit, unless he has adequate protection.
And with a report indicating that Charles had done something similar when it came to his personal life, there is a natural contradiction here if Harry is prevented from the opportunity to do the same.
This could only be explained by virtue of the fact that he no longer is in the Royal family. Omar Scobie, who happens to be a Royal expert, had this to say: “In May 2002, The @Guardian carried a report claiming that Prince Charles privately paid for two full-time police protection officers for his then-long term mistress, Camilla Parker Bowles.
“A Palace spokesperson called it a ‘private matter’.” The response on social media towards this was very mixed.
A certain subset of people felt that Harry was being hard done by, while others recognised that the circumstances between Charles at the time and what Harry is going through are completely different.
One user, by the name of Royal Tea, remarked the following: “They had both been divorced [Charles and Camilla] for years and publicly a couple for several years. She needed security bc of this exact type of BS.”
Regardless of whether Harry will be allowed to have his own security, the very fact of the matter is that until this issue has been resolved, then the chances of Charles seeing the grandkids are going to diminish by the minute.
And given that reports indicate that Charles wants to invite Harry and Meghan Markle to the UK in order to see them, this is clearly a matter of huge importance.
