    Kodak Black

American rapper Kodak Black, otherwise known as Bill Kahan Kapri, has found himself in trouble with the authorities once again after he was arrested on the grounds of trespassing.

Kodak Black Was Reportedly Arrested For Trespassing-‘It’s A Bogus Bust’

It is no secret that the rapper cannot keep himself on the correct side of the law, as he was recently arrested for violating his probation order after he had failed a drugs test.

Just when you thought that might have been a wake-up call for him to get his life in order, it turned out to be anything but that. According to reports, Kodak had decided to visit some friends during the New Year celebrations.

This included apparently paying off the credit cards debts of some people that had bought Christmas presents.

That is when it is claimed that the authorities arrived and apprehended him because he had been in violation of a letter that was put forward by a local housing authority.

And yet, the rapper maintained his innocence for the following reasons. First of all, it is alleged that he did not receive such a letter.

Therefore, he cannot be guilty of something by virtue of not being put on notice of it. Secondly, it is suggested that the letter did not specify that he was not allowed to be in this area, and thus, his arrest was not allowed.

Bradford Cohen, who happens to be his attorney on the case had as quoted by TMZ stated the following: “Yes, his client was indeed arrested early Saturday morning near Pompano Beach, FL on a misdemeanor trespassing charge.

“But…it’s a bogus bust … based on nothing but a cease-or-desist letter from 4 months ago.” Luckily for everyone involved, Kodak was apparently released shortly after. And given that the offence was not really that serious, he was let go on a $25 bond.

It is not clear whether there are going to be any additional ramifications for the rapper, by virtue of placing additional restrictions so that his releases are supervised.

But at the very least, the rapper will be happy that he is able to enjoy the New Year without any legal trouble. If you liked reading this article, then check out our other features on the Daily Soap Dish.
