Kim Kardashian and her neighbour are reportedly at loggerheads as the two cannot seem to live together in harmony within the same neighbourhood.
Kim Kardashian Is In A ‘Legal Battle’ With Her Neighbour Over A Drive Way
Reports indicate that Kim’s neighbour Sarah Key has not been happy with Kim’s decision to redo her house. And as part of those renovations, Kim is looking to put a driveway on a piece of land.
The only problem is that Sarah is allegedly the owner of it. As such, she has decided to take legal action in the hope that she can prevent Kim from doing this.
A source told TMZ the following: “Sarah Key, filed for an injunction … to stop Kim from putting a driveway on a strip of land Key claims to own.”
This begs the question, why can the duo simply not work things out and come to a compromise? Well, the court documents alleged that this driveway would give Kim access to and from Sarah’s land. In this way, it would clearly be compromising any privacy that Sarah would otherwise have.
Although this could be resolved by having an amicable agreement to respect each other’s private rights, the very fact of the matter is that unless it is set into stone within the bounds of the law, a verbal agreement is not likely to hold much weight.
TMZ added: “Kim hasn’t started construction, but Key wants to stop her in her tracks, claiming a portion of the driveway would be squarely on her property. Key couldn’t be any clearer.”
Kim has a lot going on in her life. She has yet to finalise her divorce from Kanye West, despite the fact that she has made it clear she has no intention of getting back together with him.
This is probably something she should be paying more attention to given that it will have an impact on her children. Therefore, it is probably wise that she is able to come to an amicable solution.
Otherwise, she may end up in a situation where she is facing more legal trouble. With that in mind, we will have to see how this will all play out.
