Just as news broke that Chris North had been accused of sexual assault by two women, Zoe Lister-Jones has come and spoken out against the actor.
Zoe Lister-Jones Slams Chris North In Response To His Sexual Assault Allegations-‘The Man Is A Sexual Predator’
Zoe, for her part, claimed that Chris had been drunk on the set of Law and Order. Not only that, but he had also apparently behaved inappropriately towards some women at a New York nightclub that he owns.
And given that they came across each other on a set, Zoe was one of the few people to be able to see Chris’ behaviour first-hand. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Zoe did not hold back on calling out Chris’ behaviour.
She said: “The man is a sexual predator. In my twenties, I worked at a club in New York that Chris Noth owned and on the few occasions, he would show up, he was consistently sexually inappropriate with a fellow female.”
If these comments are taken to be true, then it does raise significant questions about Chris’ behaviour going forward. Naturally, this is going to be of significance to the authorities who are no doubt investigating the initial allegations that are coming out.
But for Zoe, it was much more than just corroborating what had initially been revealed. It looks as though she had personally come across some inappropriate behaviour that was being directed towards her, which ultimately made her feel uncomfortable.
She added: “He was drunk on set. During my interrogation scene he had a 22 ounce beer under the table that he would drink in between takes. In one take, he got close to me, sniffed my neck and whispered, ‘You smell good.”
It is not clear why Zoe refused to come forward earlier, but it could be due to the fact that there were fears that people would not believe what she had to say.
Her following comment hinted as much: “I didn’t say anything. My friend at the club never said anything. It’s so rare that we do.” Based on the allegations so far, the only thing left to do is let the authorities come to a conclusion and rule on the matter.
