Kelly Clarkson has revealed how her split from her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock has made her view men differently.

Kelly, for her part, had been married to Brandon for around seven years. To make matters even more complicated, he was also her manager.
But now that they have parted ways both personally and professionally, Kelly admitted that finding someone else was not going to be easy. During a segment on her ‘ Kelly Clarkson’ show, she revealed that she finds it hard to do dating.
She said: “I’m always that person that’s like, ‘Oh, I don’t know. Maybe they were having an off day. We should hang out so that rubs off [on me].”
And the process of getting to know someone, which requires a lot of emotional investment, is something that Kelly has found hard to do.
This is especially true, as reports indicated that the reason why the duo split was because they clashed during their time together in quarantine.
And looking back, it was no surprise that they parted ways. A source remarked : “The relationship had been on the rocks for a long time.”
That is not to say that it is not possible for Kelly to settle down once again, she simply feels that as of this moment, it is very unlikely to happen.
She added: “I don’t know if I’m willing to invest in an evening with you yet. I’ll be single forever.” Even if these comments are taken to be true, it is important to bear this in mind.
First of all, she has a talk show that is doing well. Therefore, her career is in a good place. Secondly, she raised two children during her time with Brandon: River Rose and Remington Alexander.
As such, she has plenty of things that she can teach them going forward, all of which will give her life some much-needed value. Hopefully, for Kelly, she can find someone to settle down with that will end up being more compatible with her.
