It looks like we’re going to end the week with some semi-friendly competition and a relaxing moment to help slow things down a little, and CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are all set to dig in.
This should be an interesting episode as drawing battle lines are always entertaining, especially when the rivalry is focused on one’s ex.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For December 17: The weigh in
We may be wrong, but Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope)’s first meeting is going be similar to a weigh in prior to a championship fight.
The difference here is the prize isn’t a $100 million or even a trophy. It’s Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
So, Sally and Chelsea will meet cordially, and with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) as a mediator most likely.
They’ll eye each other up and down and form some early opinions, but since Chelsea knows what Adam looks for she may grow concerned.
She may have been a bad influence on Adam previously, but she’ll recognize that Sally’s so much worse and it’ll fall in line with what she’s heard about the talented designer.
Sally’s heard a lot about Chelsea ass well, and we think she’s not going to be as impressed after everyone she had to deal with in Los Angeles.
By the end of it, we expect both to be ready to go to war for Adam’s affections. A shame he’s not interested in them at the moment.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For December 17: Billy helps Lily relax
With everything Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is dealing with since taking over Chancellor Industries, she’s going to need a few vacations to help her relax mentally and physically.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) knows this and will take the proper steps to help her relax and recharge.
So, he’s going to plan a distraction for her to get away from it and ‘Young and the Restless’ expect this to be a fun and romantic gesture she’ll really appreciate it.
It’ll be a fun segment as we’ll get to see how big Billy’s heart is as he does everything he can to help to get her mind off everything for a while.
It’ll be a good time for him to recharge as well before he dives back in and continues setting the Newmans up for their downfall.
