Nick Cannon has responded to the news of his 5-month-old son Zen’s death by getting a tattoo in order to remember him.
Nick Cannon Gets A Tattoo Of An Angel To Remember His Late Son Zen
Nick’s world was turned upside down, when he announced publicly that his son had died as a result of a brain tumour. This tragedy has now left him questioning whether he wants to have any further children in the future.
And in the meantime, he felt that there was no better way but to remember him by getting a tattoo to keep him close in his heart. In the picture here, we can see that Nick has decided to get an angel tattooed on his rib cage.
And on top of the angel, a halo can be seen as a way to show just how much light Zen had shined into his life. But the journey to getting the tattoo was not as smooth sailing as initially people may have thought.
When commenting about the tattoo, Nick had this to say: “I got the opportunity to actually go and get a tattoo of my son Zen as angel on my rib. I’m still all bandaged up and it hurts, right here, right now.”
Nevertheless, Nick had no regrets about going ahead with the procedure. Once the pain had died down, he had managed to do what he wanted from the outset. That was to keep Zen firmly in his mind, wherever he was.
In addition, Nick also felt that this experience would benefit him as it would make the grieving process a whole lot easier by having something to remind him whenever he felt down.
He added: “It was a lot of pain, but it was well worth it. I enjoyed every moment of the experience. I enjoyed every moment of the experience.
“To forever have my son, right here as my rib, right here at my side. That’s my angel.” Nick could not have done anything better.
He may no longer be here, but during his short life, Zen managed to bring a lot of happiness. And that is something that will stay with Nick forever.
