While Russell Wilson may be in Washington for a Monday night football game, his wife Ciara didn’t let that stand in the way of a fantastic birthday! The Seattle Seahawks are set to take on the Washington Football Team tonight, and while he’s a million miles from home, it still felt like home.
The music star serenaded Wilson with a beautiful version of ‘Happy Birthday’ and got him a tray of cupcakes with candles lit as well! Wilson loved it, blew out the candles and leaned in for a kiss from his wife. He later shared the videos on his Instagram writing, “I love when u sing to daddy 😉🤣❤🙌”

Seahawks QB Russell Wilson Gets Serenaded By His Wife Ciara Wilson For His 33rd Birthday!
Seahawks fans are hoping this brings good fortune for Wilson who has been struggling the last two weeks after returning from having surgery on his finger. He’s 0-2 since returning and if they lose tonight, the season could very well be over.
While I’m sure they hope he doesn’t eat a bunch of cupcakes before taking the field, the grand gesture and sharing the evening with his wife will surely help him with morale.
Wilson has thrown for 1,564 yards this season, with 10 touchdowns to 3 interceptions. Unfortunately, a majority of those yards and touchdowns came in the first few weeks of the season. With the added week this year, Seattle still has a chance to squeak in on a wildcard spot, but it’s going to take some great football to make up for it.
