‘Counting On’ Spoilers reveal that Anna Duggar showed up to Josh Duggar’s pre-trial hearing and they walked into the courtroom hand in hand, amid much backlash from her followers.
So far, Anna Duggar has been very silent on all fronts concerning Josh, she hasn’t said a word on social media and just scarely updated us all on the birth of their 7th child, Madyson Lily Duggar, who was apparently born on Oct. 23rd but not announced until a few days ago. Anna’s not even a month out of delivering this baby, and yet here she is, walking hand in hand with Josh at his trial.

This garnered a lot of comments from followers saying “I wonder what she told the children about where Daddy is?” which is a valid question, what would one even begin to say to their children about this sort of trial?
But some said that while they had defended Anna and even felt bad for her in the past, that this was one action that they just couldn’t defend.
She had a newborn that she was leaving (even if it was just a few hours) to go and stand beside this man who was caught looking at images of children being sexually abused. A lot of fans simply pulled out of defending Anna because of her presence at the pre-trial hearing, but others offered some other perspective.
They said that until one is involved in the fundie cult, that one doesn’t truly understand how much women are brainwashed into standing behind their men, sometimes to the detriment of their children and definitely to themselves.
In the ATI it is taught that the wife has to be under the husband’s authority at all times and if she is outside his authority she is outside God’s authority and that leaves their lives wide open for tragedy to strike. It is taught that if the Mother gets out from under the Father’s authority then the entire family balance is thrown out of whack and the children start turn against God and this leaves the wife open for sexual assault and other horrible things.
The level of brainwashing is mind-blowing. So it’s not surprising that Anna Duggar showed up to this court hearing, but for a lot of fans, it is very disappointing. Stay tuned!!!
