A TikTok video has gone viral after it suggested that the reported death toll of 8 people at the Astroworld concert in Houston was inaccurate.
TikTok Video Goes Viral After It Suggests That The Death Toll At The Astroworld Concert Was Inaccurate
In the video here, we can see that a large vigil has been going on in order to commemorate all those who had died in the tragic incident. This included the names of the people along with a message.
And on closer inspection, the contents of the video were quite disturbing. The total number of names suggested that there were more deaths than the alleged eight which were being reported in the media.

If this is taken to be true, then it suggests that Travis Scott, the singer who had been performing when the tragedy had occurred, could be facing even more lawsuits.
That is what a TikToker user was hinting at. In response to the video, the user said: “So are we not gonna talk about how there’s clearly more than eight people written on this poster that died at this Travis Scott concert.
“And the news is just lying to us? Or are we just going to ignore that?” The reaction on social media was one of severe outrage. Fans could not fathom why the people presiding over the concert would downplay the death toll.
Although it could be suggested that they are looking to minimise any potential legal ramifications, such an action, if it were done on purpose, would be seen as an insult to the family of the deceased.
And this was echoed by Billy Nasser, who happened to attend the concert. During an interview with CNN, he remarked: “I’ve never seen a dead person before.
“To see kids on the ground with their eyes rolling back to their head, and for the media to be underreporting deaths, it’s kind of really frustrating.”
This clearly suggests that the authorities need to continue doing some further groundwork to give all the families involved some closure.
Failure to do that is only going to incense them and exacerbate a moment that has already left a lot of pain.
