Malverde: El Santo Patrón Spoilers was surprised that it didn’t take long for Herminio Quiñones (Luis Felipe Tovar) to punish the Governor for talking the President into redirecting the railroad through San Blas de Baca.
While he simply corrected a corrupt maneuver by moving the train to go as originally intended instead of the land he Herminio stole from the Yoreme people, it cost him dearly.
Despite his concern for his life, he became a little too comfortable in Herminio’s “change of heart” and it cost him, and now his wife is fully anti Jesús Malverde (Pedro Fernández).
With Herminio’s right hand man and enforcer, Eleuterio Rivas (Ramón Medina), shooting the Governor in the back twice and blaming it on Jesús.
With a price already on Jesús’ head, it’s given Herminio the opportunity to take over the area and make things right, and first on his list is to remove Jesús and anyone that supports him.
Malverde: El Santo Patrón Spoilers: More complications to come
This couldn’t be at a worse time for Jesús as he’s struggling with the reality he has a son he didn’t know about. At least, every sign points to he and Isabel Aguilar (Carolina Miranda)’s son.
Whether he is or not will come to light in time, but it seems like a foregone conclusion Jesús is the father, and it’s already causing complications with Isabel’s husband, Vicente del Río (Mark Tacher).
The Aguilar family was already argumentative over whether or not Jesús’ life choices were for the better or not.
And now that Jesús is accused of murder and Vicente’s feeling his family slipping from his grasp, we’re on the cusp of seeing Vicente become as dangerous to Jesús as Herminio.
Malverde: El Santo Patrón Spoilers: Still one step ahead
Jesús has been one step ahead of everyone and we applaud his stance of not killing anyone unless it’s defending someone’s life, but that point’s being willfully ignored by the authorities and his naysayers.
With so many firmly established as his enemies, it’s going to be hard for Jesús to continue being one step ahead of everyone, and Malverde El Santo Patrón Spoilers expect him to run into some troubles because of that.
The best planning can’t always overcome betrayal and mistakes, and we see both coming for Jesús.
While Vicente will certainly betray him, but members of his own group want to escalate to killing the officers and soldiers sent to capture them.
At some point something’s going to break, and we can’t wait to see things unfold.
Will Herminio’s grasp tighten some more tonight, or will an unexpected move cause him more frustration? Let us know in the comments below and check back with Malverde: El Santo Patrón Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
