Britney, for her part, has not had a good time when it comes to TV shows that are talking about her life. Her prior documentary called ‘Framing Britney Spears’ was immediately shot down by the singer as she claimed that it had divided her family even further.

Not only that, but she admitted to crying about it. This time, though, Sam is hoping that things will be a lot better, given how far Britney has come in her life.

In a post to his fans on Instagram, Sam said: “Apparently, my opinion has increased in value over the last few days. Past docs left bad after taste. I’m hopeful this one will be respective.

“I don’t blame CNN, BBC or NETFLIX…for airing them because as an actor, I tell other people’s stories too.” Having said all that, there is still a concern over the contents of the documentary for several reasons.

First of all, Britney had not been consulted about what the documentary was going to include. Therefore, she has no say over how it will portray her and instead has to rely on the producers.

Secondly, given that Britney’s conservatorship battle is still ongoing, does it make sense to have another documentary out? The answer is probably not. And that is why Sam has questioned the intentions of the makers.

He added: “I question producers who made them ‘just to shed light’ without input or approval from subject. Any credit for light being shed should go to #freebritney.”

Nevertheless, if the documentary turns out to be positive, then it could be just the boost that Britney was hoping for. It would show her that the media is on her side and ultimately allow her to be accepted by the wider public once again.

In doing so, she would have all the tools needed to make a comeback with her music career, should she want to. Time will tell how the documentary plays out, and the only thing we can do is wait.
