They are friends, ok? Just friends, and nothing else. And there’s certainly no ‘break’ involved, either. Jennifer Aniston recently opened up about the funny way she found out about the rumors suggesting she was dating her “Friends” co-star David Schimmer soon after the reunion special debuted.
Calling the rumors “really funny,” Jennifer told Marie Claire Australia, “I was just saying, ‘I hadn’t heard a word of this.’ Honestly. I was getting a couple of texts from people saying, ‘I thought you were on a break, LOL.’ And I kept saying, ‘What are you talking about?’ And then I went online to see what was happening and I was like, ‘That is the funniest rumor that I never heard that got shot down in the quickest amount of time.’”

“That was bizarre. I could not believe that, actually. Like, really? That’s my brother,” Jennifer also told ET Online when asked about the rumors. “But I understand it, though. It just shows you how hopeful people are for fantasies, for dreams to come true.”
Back in May, one tipster told Closer magazine: “After the reunion, it became clear that reminiscing over the past had stirred up feelings for both of them and that chemistry they’d always had to bury was still there. hey began texting immediately after filming and, just last month, David flew from his home in New York to see Jen in LA.”
If that weren’t enough, the insider added that Jen and David have “been spending time at Jen’s home, where she’s cooked dinners in the evenings, and have enjoyed quality time together, chatting and laughing.”
