’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers tells us that Ariela’s ex, Leandro, posed a tough question to her in the latest episode of 90 day fiance The Other Way, and it was, “Are you sure this is what you want for your life?” while Ariela said that she saw so much potential in Ethiopia, she also admitted that there were definitely things that she didn’t like about living there, but she also felt at home enough to raise a family there.
However… something about her statements sounded more like she was trying to convince herself rather than Leandro.
’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers: Was Ariela trying to convince Leandro, or herself?
She told Leandro that while intellectually she knew that she and him were not going to end up together, that it was ‘different’ when he was there. She thought it was cool that he came to visit her and came to see little Avi, Leandro said that he liked little Avi and that’s good news.
However, Ariela seemed like she was trying to convince herself of a reality that may or may not be possible. Biniyam actually shook the relationship way more than he intended by inviting his ex, Tsion, out for dinner with them.
Ariela is now afraid that Biniyam will cheat on her because of Tsion’s claims that he cheated on her, and it looks like she has every right to be afraid.
Even if Biniyam doesn’t actively cheat, he has a habit of not communicating, which drives Ariela crazy. There’s also the continuous language barrier between them, Ariela has tried to learn more Ethiopian and Biniyam’s english seems a little better than it was, but it’s clear that neither are proficient in either language and it makes for a lacking relationship.
Whereas you can clearly see that at least with Leandro, they both speak the same language and they both get what each other means. She doesn’t have that kind of understanding with Biniyam.
Perhaps that’s all that’s really standing in the way, a language barrier, a way of communicating where they both each know what the other one means. But sometimes there is a connection far beyond language, beyond culture, sometimes you just ‘get’ each other and it looks like Ariela may be mourning for ‘the one that got away’ for a long time yet.
She says that she’s trying and hopefully by staying in Ethiopia with Bini and Avi that she can prove to him that the relationship will get better… but… that’s not really a way to live. We’ll see where this lands. Stay tuned!!!
