Britney Spears recently posted on her instagram story that she and longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari have gotten engaged. It was adorable! She posted a picture of her showing off her ring like a 22 year old sorority girl.
Sam Asghari even joined in the fun by posting on his own instagram story, at first teasing the fans with a text only post saying “Big news, can’t wait to share.” then a picture of them kissing with Britney ‘flipping off’ the camera with her ring finger in front of their faces in a strategic pose.
Britney gets engaged… but is it true love?
It makes one wonder if this move was approved by Daddy Dearest, Jamie Spears, of if this is just one of the more recent moves that Britney has made in order to reclaim her freedom.
She has came out as saying that for the past 13 years her Father and her conservatorship has had a heavy hand in everything that she’s done, including keeping an IUD inside of her so that she could not bear anymore children – something that Britney really wants to do. (Also let’s face it, she’s 39, unlike a man who can sire children up until they’re in their 70’s, a woman can’t wait that long unless they want to freeze their eggs and do the surrogacy thing. Science just doesn’t work that way.)
Some people have questioned Asghari’s motives though, thinking that he may just be with Britney for the clout, and he may, it wouldn’t be the first time people have taken advantage of Britney, though we sincerely hope not. This girl has been surrounded by wolves long enough.
But there was one blind item on the site crazy days and nights, dated August 19th 2021 that made people wonder. It read: “The boyfriend of the “singer” is addicted to being in the tabloids everyday. This is going to bite him back hard when they discover the girlfriend.” so who is the girlfriend?
Who could Sam Asghari possibly be dating aside from Britney Spears? And is he just with her for the clout or is this a real love connection? One hopes for the latter, but if it’s the former, hopefully Britney will be able to see through it before they actually tie the knot. Stay tuned!!!
