‘90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk’ is a fun spin-off series that airs after the ’90 Day Fiancé’ shows. It features many of the favorite couples and how they watch the shows together. Most of the commentary is pretty funny, but fans are concerned about one of the newest couples to be featured on the show. This couple is Julia Trubkina and Brandon Gibbs. Fans of the show are not looking forward to seeing them on the series and have a lot to say about it.
’90 Day Fiancé’: Why Are Fans Mad?
Fans of ’90 Day Fiancé: Pillow Talk’ don’t exactly feel as if Julia and Brandon are a good fit for the show. Julia clashes with his parents and hasn’t shown any type of feelings for the fact that Brandon misses living with his parents and he wants to be closer to them in order to take care of his father, who is slowly getting sicker and sicker. Julia is also incredibly jealous and fans of the show really don’t want to see more of her rude attitude and her demanding nature. Is this a good fit for the show? Many fans think not.
On Reddit, there were plenty of fans that were ready to express their opinions on what they think of these two being on the show. One wrote, “Judging from their brand of humor on display from this posting their Instagram posts… Hard pass.” Another wrote, “Talk about cringe. They’re going to try so hard to be funny and fall short by miles.” One more added, “TLC should do the beer test with any future pillow talk cast. If you wouldn’t have a beer with a cast member, they shouldn’t be on pillow talk.”
Pillow Talk has brought us some hilarious couples and many fans have learned to love them more after seeing them together on Pillow Talk. For example, Loren and Alexei Brovarnik got a very warm reception when they were on the show, as well as Molly Hopkins. Ed Brown did not get a good reception when he appeared with his mother, but it didn’t seem like he lasted too long on the series. It is up to TLC to choose the final couples for the show and it does look as if Julia and Brandon will be part of the new season of Pillow Talk.
Like it or not, we will see even more of Brandon and Julia and it looks as if they could be the next couple to try and do every spinoff series for 90 Day Fiancé.
