‘90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ spoilers find that the blow-up scene between returning couple, Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh has been promoted by TLC for several weeks. With Sumit stringing Jenny along for the better part of a decade, and still not walking her down the aisle, fans were elated to see Jenny reach the end of her very long rope and explode on her kind-of fiancé.

It was a different set of circumstances, however, when Jenny and Sumit decided to promote the scene themselves on their combined Instagram page. The 90 Day Fiancé couple posted a pair of photos depicting Sumit cowering in fear as Jenny looms over him, a plastic chair in her hand, ready to swing.

“Are you ready for the action tonight,” the caption asked.

As imagined, this created quite the furor with some fans, with several calling the couple out for “glorifying” domestic violence.

“Ummmmmmm…this is not cool no matter what. Physical violence never solves anything right,” wrote one critic. Another 90 Day fan posted, “As someone who has gone through real domestic violence, it’s horrible to see a couple I love making fun of it on such a huge platform.”

Sumit and Jenny responded to the critics saying, “We are just doing it for fun. Really feel sorry to hear about you. Domestic violence is not [a] joke. But this is just for fun.”

This did not satisfy the vocal naysayers who accused the couple of displaying bad taste and implored them to “do better.”

It seems Jenny and Summit’s co-stars were able to find the humor, however, with both Armando Rubio And Biniyam Shibre agreeing the post had tickled their funny bones.

While the post may have triggered some abuse survivors, several other pointed out that instead of worrying about an obviously staged photo from a couple that is seen weekly as being very loving, fans of the 90 Day franchise should concentrate on banding together to get real abuser, Angela Deem removed from the show and stripped of her public platform.

What do you think of Jenny and Sumit poking fun at themselves? Poor taste post or are fans are being too sensitive?
