NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal we’ve got some relationship drama ahead. And the funny part of this is, two people seem to be in the same position. Let’s take a look at how these two people are self-destructing thanks to their own insecurities. And why we do think these relationships are doomed.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Trauma
First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal the two people were speaking of are Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson). Both are in relationships right now, but it seems as though their problems are very similar. We’ll talk about that insecurity in a minute. But for now, let’s talk the trauma.
For Philip, he opened up to Belle Black (Martha Madison) about the trip to New York triggering him for a good reason. He talked about how Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) left on a trip with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) after high school. It was an innocent thing, but she ended up with Brady. Philp sees this trip as a repeat of the past, so he’s reacting by instinct.
As for Ava, she also has spoken before about not having any good relationships before. The closest thing was Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and we all know what an obsessive mess that became. So, neither one has a good track record with their love lives. And it seems they’re letting the past mess up their present.

Both are feeling really insecure. Philip is convinced that Brady will use this trip to get Chloe back. Meanwhile, Ava is also convinced that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) won’t stay with her. Not with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) around. In Ava’s case, she sort of has a good reason to freak out. At least, to an extent. Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) spent a lot of time teasing her about how the necklace she found must belong to Nicole. And how there is no way Rafe will not be back with Nicole eventually, assuming he’s not already cheating. Is there any hope for these two?

We’re thinking not. Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate Ava did catch Rafe and Nicole sharing a meal. While it was innocent and Nicole planned to keep her distance from Rafe out of respect for his relationship with
Ava. We think she’ll continue to worry, no matter what Rafe says. Or what advice Steve gave her.
In Philip’s case, he got good advice as well. Belle told him to just relax, trust Chloe, and let this go. She warned if he raced to PA to “bring flowers” as a “surprise”, Chloe would see through it. She’d also likely be upset and offended that he doesn’t trust her.
No matter what Belle told him, Philip decided to take the trip after all. So, we are sure neither of these two will be partnered for long. Who knows? Maybe they’ll connect over that and work through some of their issues. Because it’s way beyond time for them to do it. Where’s Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) when you need her?
