Becca Kufrin’s appearance on Bachelor in Paradise has not caused any outrage amongst Blake Horstmann.
‘Bachelor in Paradise’: What Does Becca Kufrin’s Appearance On The Show Mean For Blake Horstmann?
Blake, for his part, appeared on season 14 of The Bachelorette as he was trying to win Becca over. While he did make it to the latter stages, it was not enough as he came runner up.
Becca would eventually go on to hook up with Garrett Yrigoyen, only for the pair to then call their engagement off. And yet, Blake has no intention of revisiting anything with Becca once again.
A source told Us Weekly: “Blake has no regrets about his decision to not be on Paradise. If he and Becca were meant to be, then that’s something that would eventually happen, but he’s not looking back… Blake supports Becca no matter what.”
Blake was offered the chance to rejoin the franchise, but it was not something he felt he was ready to do. He felt that the pressure being imposed on the contestants could get to extreme levels, as they often were portrayed in a manner that was not their true self.
In a prior post to his fans on Instagram, he remarked: “I am in a good place in my life. Personally, professionally and mentally. I didn’t want to go back into an environment that breeds toxicity and emotional abuse.”
Nevertheless, Becca and Blake remain very good friends. They have stayed in touch on social media, despite Becca’s split. That led some fans to think that they would get together, as the messages were flirty, to say the least.
But given that Blake had already tried to win Becca over before, he knew that he could not do any more. An insider stated: “He and Becca have been friends and will remain friends even if Becca [finds] love in Paradise.
“There’s no denying they have chemistry and get along well. They just never took that next step.” Let us hope that Becca and Blake will be able to settle down in their lives.
They may not be together, but their bond will continue to grow as friends. We wish them the best with the future.
