Kanye West and Irina Shayk are officially no longer dating each other, as they walked their separate ways.

The news should not come as a huge surprise, given that the pair had decided to distance themselves prior to the official announcement. While Irina’s camp had claimed that this was due to work-related stuff, it seems they were not destined to be together due to the differences between them.
A source told Us Weekly: “Kanye and Irina are over, but they never really started. There’s nothing going on there. They aren’t great romantic partners.”
The main reason why they were initially interested in each other was because of the same circles that they found themselves in. Kanye, for his part, had been involved through brands in Paris Fashion Week.
That is the same place where Irina had been working. Not only that, but she was also in Kanye’s music video for the song entitled, ‘Power.’ And this background merely provided them with a chance to see if they could have a relationship.
Another source remarked: “Irina and Kanye have been spending time together and getting to know one another. He’s always thought she was beautiful, and they’re both looking forward to seeing where this goes.”
And it all came to a head when Kanye and Irina were pictured in Paris, France, on the rapper’s 44th birthday. They reportedly had a great time, but the lifestyle that the rapper was proposing was not compatible with her work.
After all, Kanye is known for travelling all over the world. And yet, Irina has a career where the expectations are very similar for her in terms of travel. And it seems that was ultimately one of the reasons why it ended.
An insider stated: “Irina does like Kanye but isn’t ready for so many public appearances together all over the [world] for the coming months.”
Time will tell what the future holds. Kanye and Irina may not be together, but there is still plenty of time for them to find someone to make many memories with. And we wish them the best with that as things move forward.
