Kendall Long and Joe Amabile may have split up, but that did not stop the duo from returning to Bachelor in Paradise at the same time.
‘Bachelor In Paradise’: Kendall Long Returned ‘For Another Chance At Finding Love’
The pair looked on course for great things when they met each other on the fifth season of the show. And things continued in the same vein after the show, as Kendall contemplated the thought of spending the rest of her life with Joe.
But things did not go as planned, as the break up got bitter towards the latter end. And yet, Kendall still has a desire to find her special someone.
A source said: “She went on for another chance at finding love since she knew it could possibly work out for her again. It’s been over a year-and-a-half since they broke up, so she was ready to fall in love.”
Her return was a bit of a shock, given her prior experiences with the franchise. She initially appeared on Arie Luyendyk Jr’s season of The Bachelor, but having failed to win him over, she moved onto other things.
Her constant failure to win men over started to make her question whether the reality show was the right way for her to settle down.
In an interview with Us Weekly, she revealed: “I try to live as if I’m not depending on the Bachelor world to find my future husband because then I’m just holding off my love life.”
But the fact that she has to face Joe once again has been playing on her mind. After all, there is the slim chance that she could rekindle her feelings for him. Even if that is unlikely to happen, she could easily be overwhelmed by going back to the place where she first met him.
Sources confirmed as much: “She had a feeling he was going to be there since he still has ties to the show (through the podcast) and was single at the time. [She thought the] producers wanted to bring her there because he was going to be there.” It will be fascinating to see how this dynamic will play out. It is certainly not one to miss.
